Fall barn wedding with a vineyard ceremony…..
This past fall we had the honor of hosting Amanda and Shawn for a quintessential Maine barn wedding complete with hay bales for their ceremony seating. Shawn proposed to Amanda right down the road from us on the dock at her parent’s home making Bonaventura Vineyards the perfect location for their wedding day!
Shawn made this beautiful arbor for Amanda and we loved the drapery and greenery accents Amanda added. The arbor was the perfect compliment at the top of the vineyard.
Amanda’s Aunt was their wedding photographer. Their wedding officiant was Senior Pastor, Roger Cousineau from the East Auburn Baptist Church. https://www.eabcministries.com. Bouquets and boutonnieres were created by Davis Florist of Rumford, Maine https://www.davisfloristinc.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html.
Amanda’s gorgeous lace dress was from Andrea’s Bridal in Portland, Maine http://www.andreasbridal.net/.
The beautiful burgundy bridesmaids dresses, which complimented the foliage so well were from an online retailer https://www.lulus.com/ . Men’s Wearhouse provided the suits for the groom and groomsmen https://www.menswearhouse.com/.
After the ceremony the guests headed in to the barn to start the party! Drapery and other decor pieces provided by BB’s Events and Rentals, conveniently located just 20 minutes from us in Livermore Falls, Maine http://bbseventsandrentals.com/. Reception tables and chairs provided by Big Time Bounce and Party Rentals of Auburn, Maine https://btbpartyrentals.com/ (ceremony chairs rented from Northland True Value Hardware in Turner, Maine).
The unbelievable cake and dessert display was designed by La Bella Torta https://www.lbtcakes.com/, yum!
Shawn and Amanda’s DJ for their reception was Jamie Juntura DJ & MC @junturasounds. Catering was provided by family friend, Scott Johnson.
Shawn and Amanda taking a break from dancing to steal a moment together on the barn deck.
The deck is also a great spot to catch the sunset, a view of the water or a place to capture an amazing photo of all your guests!
Amanda told her parents after her and Shawn’s fourth date, that this was the man she was going to marry, we hope the day was everything they hoped it would be after that date! We wish them a lifetime of happiness and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hird!
